Hi there, I have just bought myself AppGameKit, and keep seeing talk of Tier1 and Tier2, I know what they are, but how do you use Tier2?
I do have Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 installed on my PC, but only ever played with a little bit of Visual Basic, not dabbled with C++ yet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance.

Daz.

Dazzy if you are not familiar with C++ stick with T1 for now

If you want to put some time & effort & learn the basics of C++ then you can come back and use the T2 libs

I agree with bjadams, if you have not played with c/c++/c#/java yet, then stay with T1 for a bit. C++ ain't all that hard once you have read a bit about the basics (syntax etc), so grab a free book from somewhere on the net to teach you that and then mess about with T2 stuff,

Blackberry App Development & ZX Spectrum Game Development.

Thank you so much for your replies, but do I need to use T2 to publish my works?

No, you can do it with both. There are guides on how to compile when using tier 1 in the help.
