AppGameKit Classic Chat / Cant get particles to work in AGK trial

I successfully ran all of the examples successfully in the trial except for the particles. AppGameKit does not seem to want to generate them for the examples. My Graphics drivers are up to date Running a Radon 6450 graphics card on Windows 7 (64 bit ) with 6gb memory.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
