You say that....

But you'll still do it. I would like to complete VVVVV in no-death mode, but I just don't think it's physically possible.

Haha games like that just make me rage and want to throw my Gamepad at the wall I recently installed Super Meat Boy again, if I play that for too long I go into Rage-mode

Played through Limbo again for the first time in 6 month... I died about 30 times because I forgot how stuff works, took me about 1h 40min. This must be possible with 5 or less deaths.

I'm not so sure. All of the scenes in the game are actually 3D, to achieve the fluid and naturalness of the animation. I wouldn't go so far to say this was an easy game to develop. It took the developer several years to create.

I agree. And think of the complexity involved during the "cutscenes". Do you think making the spider move like that is easy to program?

Well 3D is the same as 2D in this coding system, maybe even easier. The spiders look easy to animate in silhouette. Anyway, do you think I couldn't see those things when I made my comment?

I dunno Pincho, it still looks like an awfully hard game to program.

Well I already have too many projects on my list to add this style. So I will never get to show you. I had an idea though to make the most annoying game of all time, a musical in this style like Monty Python. Just a game that would annoy you by singing each task, until it became so annoying it was funny.

Yay! I just got my bundle. I only payed $1 (£0.67) because I don't have a credit card/paypal yet so I had to ask my mum.

I'm downloading Amnesia first, I'll probably poop my pants in the first minute, but it's worth a try

Should've got Bastion, too. It's the only one I've played so far (I already owned LIMBO). That game... that game is proof that there is still hope in the gaming world, and that a higher power exists and loves us and wants us to be happy.

Cheesehead for life.

It's good, but repetetive in my opinion <Bastion>

You probably all know I live in Switzerland right? Did you know that no one knows what a Humble Bundle is here? I explained it to everyone, but they just turned it down. Stupid, ignorant Swiss...

For everyone that hasn't seen this yet, they've added Lone Survivor, Braid and Super Meat Boy to the pack (if you paid more than the average, just go back to your page and you'll find the downloads / steam key).

Awesomeness! Stumbled upon a "Lone Survivor" trailer on YouTube some time ago and found it quite interesting, and now I have it already.

I like the way the idea started with paying what you want, and over time it's shifting more and more towards paying the average.

Benjamin: the idea is exactly the same now as before, they are simply encouraging you to pay more..

@Banjoman

I think the main reason they started with the "pay more than the average" thing, is because people were/are buying the bundle by the thousands for $0.01 at a time in order to resell them for a big fat profit. Not having all of the games in the bundle kind of cheapens their product. In theory.

haha

They added more games?! Now I get games for free, just because I had already paid more than the average. I think I did play the demo of Braid at some point, really interested in that. And haven't heard of Lone Survivor yet but I'll have a look at that too.

Oh hey, now I missed my bus. Might as well test these games now. (Aww, NOW the next bus is here in 20 minutes opposed to the usual 1h )

Lone Survivor looks really cool.

We don't need Braid or Meat Boy added though, those games have already featured in bundles - I'd rather see new games, from devs that need the exposure and money. Frankly, the Braid and Meat devs have made enough money from their games, shift the hell over and let other developers have a shot.

I 100% agree with this, but do they get any money from people who already bought the bundles, or just from purchases made after the games were added?

I'm not sure, probably get a share on new purchases. Thing is, I'm glad I got this bundle before those games were added - because I already bought Meat Boy and Braid - but that means the dev of Lone Survivor loses out. It's not like we can decide which devs get what percentage. I mean, doesn't the bundle system have to change, they can't just include old games every time, like paracites absorbing funds that should go to the dev's of games you don't already own!.

It cheapens the whole thing, when they include games from past bundles, as if buying them once isn't enough. It might seem like 100% win to have Braid and MeatBoy included, but the way I see it, that detracts from the money that the other devs are entitled to. Would be good if past-featured games don't take any money, like they're bonus items, and the devs don't get a percentage from that bundle. The developers of Meat Boy said in an interview that the Humble Bundle will eventually hamper sales of their own games, and that they don't make much money through Humble Bundle - you'd think that with that idea, they wouldn't be so quick to whore-out Meat Boy... the IOS version is probably out soon as well - just how much money do these people have to make on the back of that poor lump of beef!

As I said, I wouldn't be surprised if the structure of Humble Bundle changes soon... wonder if it'll end up more like a club, where we can swap our doublers with people, and having a whole collection leads to rewards, like early access to new bundles, demos etc. Theres a lot they could do to avoid my rants I reckon

You can choose what devs get what percentage, just expand the Developers portion below where you choose your amount. I put all of my share towards Bastion, Psychonauts and Superbrothers when I bought the bundle, because I've already bought Limbo and Amnesia.

However, I'm sure that a lot of people miss that or don't think to do that, so it's essentially what you just said about them making more money off of people who bought past bundles.
