Cause its my login also,i tried changing it to my current one but for some reason it wont work, and yes i told support about it.

I never had problems with it in the past

It's possible a confirmation email was sent to that address. I don't use the email I log in with anymore either, but I have 2 accounts here, my forum account and the one I buy stuff through.

Just as a note, it might be worth considering for future purchases. Even with that in mind, this is still odd.

Well hopefully once i get the software situated i can get them to change my login to my current email,my old email is tied to past and current purchases right now.

You probably already own what you paid for then, you just can't access it because you have forgotten your email details. Why not try resetting the password for your old email? Then login and get your download links.

This is your problem right here, why you cannot change your email address without access to your old email:



You need to contact support (I posted the link in one of your threads) and tell them to change your email address because you've lost your old email. Then, go about sorting your products. This must be done in the right steps in the right order. I know how these sort of systems work because I dealt with people's accounts for two years (and hated it) at my first 2 permanent jobs. Just try it, it can't hurt. Once your email is changed, then you send an inquiry about your products if you haven't received them within 48 hours. Hope this helps.

[EDIT] By "current" email address, I assumed they mean the "current" address on their system [/EDIT]

If you don't have access to your account email, then chances are you might have already got your stuff.

Have you checked your Order History?

Under my order history is DarkBasic Pro and DarkBasic Classic and 3D Cloth and Particles. Those are tied to [email protected]. I can access my account on this site using that as my login.

Under Purchased Products shows the same as above.

but receiving emails using [email protected] from this site i wont get cause i am no long with RCN as my cable,internet company.

I do think support is looking into the email part cause i did get a response about that from them.

If you gave them an old email address you should really kick yourself not the company involved. I have an old email address registered to this site, but I didn't use it to buy DBPro. I made a new account, and bought it with the new account.

I just tried something and i can't understand why they would send the email change verification to my old email and not my new email,that is so dumb.

I have a feeling the reason why my 2 order's haven't been approved for the past 11 days is cause of that stupid email. Was there something in that purchase email i had to click or something? Everyone was right and i was retarded

As for your question, if it sent it to your old email, anyone who had your password could login, change your email and password, and you'd be out.

It's good they make you contact support to change the email.

I made a new account as Pincho, not Pincho Paxton. Then it had my new email address attached. I've tried to change this email address, but it has never worked. I can't get on AOL anymore, I haven't been with AOL for about 9 years.

Because if someone hacked your account, the first thing they could do is change your e-mail account to a new account to make sure you have no chance of recovering it.

Seeing as how all you asked (if I recall right) in your first email was "when do I get my stuff", without any reference to the very important fact that you switched your e-mail, it's not that hard to see how they could have missed the problem in their first response e-mail.

TGC isn't to blame with this one, you are!
