Lately I've had to log in to this website every day, something I've never had to do from my personal computer before after selecting "never log me out" in the session timeout drop down list.
Is this feature broken / removed (I didn't even see the option when logging in this morning)?

I always thought it was nice to not have to log in since I'm the only one using this computer anyway and I visit these forums quite frequently.

Since "Never log me out" is still working for me, I have to assume that the issue is with your browser. Have you installed any new security or privacy software/add-ons?

Brian.

Works fine here, but only on the forums. If I visit the main site (like clicking a new link or something) then I get logged out every time.

Works fine for me.

Remembers you by setting cookies that expire 1 year in the future so you should be good for exactly one year before being forced to enter username/password again.

Only thing that would force you to login everytime is if you have set browser to automatically delete cookies when closing browser (firefox has option to do this for example), or as mentioned you have some sort of security software that deletes cookies.

Boo!

Well, I have been switching some between Chrome and Firefox lately to test a website I've been working on. However I haven't visited here from the other browser so you'd think it shouldn't interfere.

My cookies should be intact unless there's something sneaky going on (no reports from my AV software though).

Oh, that just might be it then, I think I checked some serials the other day... Well, I'll just wait and see what happens tomorrow

@Rudolpho
Your signature's joke is hilarious. Thanks!

I haven't been logged out from any of the browsers I'm using. Even when navigating to the main site (though, granted, I normally don't do that).

Cheers,
Aaron

Nope, logged out again this morning.
The login button also leads me here where there are seemingly no time-out options as it were with the older layout. Can that be reached from somewhere else..?

Yes, this happens after a reboot. The thing is that it never used to before. It's not a big bother but still thought I'd post since it seemed incosistent with how it used to be.

Haha, seems the "remember me" checkbox works the same even though the old drop-down list is gone
Oh well, fair enough and all well then.
