You'll have to give us something to go on mate. Can you provide code or a recount of trying to run your app on XP. What happens when you do run it, error messages or does it just crash?

I don't get this crash on my XP machine. Try the attached file...

It's a simple "Hello World!" program that should work with no issues.

If that doesn't work please post more details about your machine hardware IE. Graphics card etc.

this.mess = abs(sin(times#))

It could be an OpenGL problem. That kind of error is usually a missing dll or other sub-component.

Suggest that you run dxdiag, save the results test file, and upload it here. That will tell us a lot of info about the computer.

In the meantime - I would make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date!

It's a fresh-setted XP! No DirectX drivers was setted, just video-drivers. Could be OpenGL... Can you advise what .dlls can I put near to my .exe???

Suggest you check OpenGL using the instructions here:

http://gregs-blog.com/2007/12/16/how-to-find-which-opengl-version-youre-running/

Have you installed the Service Packs for XP?

As I said before - run dxdiag please.

I do some of my testing on an old XP machine, with on-board graphics. I've deliberately NOT updated the video drivers, so I can use the machine as a "worst case" test bed. It won't display particles, and since the last update to AppGameKit, it now throws "Failed to get OpenGL extension glBindFramebufferEXT" every time I run an AppGameKit program. The program still runs, but the message pops up every time.

So, did something change in the last update, regarding system requirements for AppGameKit, and/or XP machines?

go to start - > run then type in dxdiag. check to see your running direct x 9.0c. If your machine does not have directx 9.0c installed, then you will need to go to msdn.com and download / install it.

dxdiag generates a full system report - not just DirectX. If we have customers hitting problems that's one of the first things I get them to run. For XP - Service Pack 3 is a must for quite a few things.
