from what i understand, DBClassic doesnt support bone animation, so i need a animating program that i could use. anyone know of one?

DB classic suports limb animations, which you can done directly in DB or use some modeling prog. which can animate and then export your animations to .x format. Milkshape for example.

You don't have to use bones in Milkshape.

In MS3D you have to build skelet made of bones and then attach wertices of model to individual bones. If you want your model to be limb animated all three wertices of one polygoon have to be attached to one bone. If you want mesh deform animation you can have them attached to diferent bones. In other words when limb animating one limb should be attached only to one bone.

Then you animate your model by adjusting bones of skelet.

Look at Mesh deformation post at the top of this forum. There is screenshot of simple model with skelet in MS3D.

exactly -thats example for mesh deformation.
