You have to manually unwrap your object in a 3d editor. That gives the object texture coordinants. If DBP doesn't find textured coordinants and you try to apply textures to a non standard object, it has no idea what to do and vomits all over your model.

how do you unwrap objects? iv been trying to figure that out!

download Lithunwrap its free prog. that does it (well you do it of course, but this program allow you to)

Milkshape have unwraper built in.

i'm all done with all that my problem is the mapping is in the right place it just looks like somebody poured water in wet ink.
and i my uv work the same in all my 3d programs so thats not it.
(pulling my hair out on this! )
