When I export a level in .3DS and convert to .x (my DBP wont load .3ds for some reason) the texture are stretched out all over the place.I can't use "scale object texture" because every texture has a different scale. Any 3ds max users out there know how to help?

thanks

you might have to redo you u/v's all over again if you had any thing disconnected in the map they are now connected when you saved or exported the map to .x

and i would suggest NOT converting to .x from .3ds, i have only come into problems with this... if you dont have it already, get pandasofts exporter and go over to members.lycos.co.uk/mrdarclyte and that tells you how to set it up...

works perfect for me... so if you have any problems... just ask me... i will be glad to help out

some questions...

how many total objects in your model you want to export?
do you have UV maps for all objects?
latest patches and drivers?
how exactly did you export the model?
what exact command did you use to load it?

also you might want to send me your code, .x file, .max file, and all textures... you can send them to [email protected]... i can probably help out better this way
