Hi everyone,

I don't know if you can access to memory on Android using tier1, but do you know if AppGameKit has or will have memblocks commands (like DarkBasic)?

Thanks

What sort of memory do you mean (RAM or 'disk')?

If he did refer to memblock commands DBPro like (and I am sure he did), then there's nothing like that in current AppGameKit version. (Enlighten me if it's otherwise)

Doesn't mean they can't be added though.

Well, they don't exist in AppGameKit at this time. I don't know if they are planned for the future.

They were commands meant to work in a Windows environment and no other. I don't know if they will translate well to other platforms.

If you work in Tier 2, you have access to all sorts of memory access stuff.

If I understand memblock's purpose correctly, then

this obviously doesn't make it impossible to work under android / ios / etc. Bites and bytes handling is common for every possible platform.

True, bytes are bytes. And all the apps do dynamically create memory every time they load.

The question is whether the functionality is really something that is needed/desired by enough people to add the commands.

In retrospect, I suppose it wouldn't be too difficult.

I will add memblock commands at some point, with the ability to load images into them, modify the memory, then convert it back to an image. It's just a matter of time.

I will be very happy when this day comes There are so many possibilities if this feature could be added.
