Hi all. i posted a similar thread in the dbpro forum. i figured this was probably a better place for my question...

I have a nice UVW unwrapped and skinned skier dude... looks very nice in 3dsmax, and when i export without animation (without bones) he looks perfect. but when i enable bones on my panda exporter, no texture comes up in dbpro! he's just grey. i tried texturing him with load image() and texture object() in dbpro, but he still looks the same.

does anyone know what the hell is going on here??

ok nevermind i figured it out, just had to collapse my model in max... so it was just a mesh with a skin modifier... i had my UVW's as a modifier aswell, which now in hindsight is bound to cause problems
