ok this is rediculas!!! i spent 2 full days at this and cant get agk to compile for the blackberry native sdk editor.

can anybody help.... im ready to toss the towel very shortly!

im getting 9 warnings and 31 other error messages and it says no binaries to run...

i think the setup for this needs better tutorials instead of a long txt file that just doesnt work at all to follow.

The process of compiling for BB does need more explaining, that's true, but we would be able to help you more if you could give us those errors you get.

Hey Interactive.

You want v1076. I believe this was the version where BB support was introduced and it has not been included in any subsiquent updates so for BB, v1076 is the way to go.

Yes I just took a look at your screenshot and you're not getting any actual errors. So just to clarify, you have built the solution, right? If so, then your problem may well be with your build configurations. How are you trying to run this? With a BB Tablet or the VMWare simulator? Whichever it is, make sure the right build configuration is selected. That would be simulator-debug or device-debug.

Hope that helps.

im using an actual tablit ... i think i was trying device-release as thats what the instructions asked for....

ok tested it out and the compiler is still not making any binaries to run....

i wonder if those errors make it not work or if some path is incorrect

I don't think v1076 works with Black Berry. That was one of the ongoing issues, bringing the current version up to speed for platforms other than Windows, iOS and Android. I think the last release that supported BB was v1065.

Can we get one of the developers to answer this question, please?

Cheers,

It's been so long since I compiled for Playbook that I'm not sure how much help I can be, but you are not getting any errors in the screenshot. The console window may provide more information.

1065 was the last version that supported the Playbook and although we have not officially dropped support it is a low priority.

Thank God!!

it looks like alot of files are missing or paths are incorrect. i will mess around a tad more before i show a consol screenshot.

about every 2 seconds....i notice a blip stuck frame and then it goes back to my set frame rate......

anyone else notice an odd blip in smoothness on the blackberry playbook?

what causes this?

edit: looks like it has to do with graphics and how busy it is....tried some demos that worked just fine...
