Hi, I downloaded it and gave it a go.
overall it is a good effort. I feel that it needs more depth for a pc game.
Is this going to be a phone game? if so then it could work as a time filler zombie wave game.
The mechanics are sound, animation and sound are well designed and work together well, i find the techno backing track irritating. I know you can turn it off but it would be nice to have some background ambient music, I dont even mind if it is techno so long as it is good techno. That techno is terrible and i assume just there to fill the void in the soundscape as an afterthought.
I found the gameplay a little one dimensional, the demo level doesn't really offer any insight into the gameplay besides shoot and upgrade. There is little incentive to upgrade your weapon after the shotgun. -no splash damage from point blank rocket launcher blast?
It would be nice to have some sort of actual level you can navigate - maybe there is, but the demo offers little scope there.
what is the point of being able to double jump if there is nowhere to go? in fact there is no reason to jump full stop.
The demo works as a proof of concept and demonstration of mechanics, but as an actual game demo it doesn't create any interest.
I do think what you have done is pretty neat, I am just cutting the crap and giving a buyers critique.
