what is the default screen mode? (if you were to set the default display mode, what would it be? SET DISPLAY MODE Width, Height, Depth)

also: is darkedit still the best editor to use for DB? i remember seeing anotherone that someone made, but i havent used it. is it any good?

Dark Edit and Code Keeper are the two alternates for Dark Basic classic. It's a matter of taste which you prefer but Dark Edit is most common.

Default display for Dark Basic would be 640x480 at (I think) 16 bit.

Code Keeper is not as good as DarkEDIT, and TGC must have like darkEDIT alot, considering that they actually employed Guy (the person who made DarkEDIT) to create the editor for DBPro...
