That's the problem!.
I need to focus and get stuff finished, posting screenies or demos tends to make me worry more about what people are suggesting than actually getting the engine solid and a decent amount of media and levels for it. There's always the disapointment factor - the last game I coded was Jetpac2003, I reckon that could have been so much better - in fact it's already so much better because I fixed the slowdown bugs, but if I spent more time on DB and less on the forum it would have had it's bug fixes and all the cool stuff myself and Simple had planned for it, like the mysterious robot for instance.
People are often disapointed when they actually get to play the games, so when I release they won't have any preconceptions about it
. I will tell you that it's like nothing that has been done in DB before, and the engine could accomodate an FPS (with visuals similar to Hidden and Dangerous), or even a racing game - so it's all good reusable code for a change!.
