No, this isn't a case of bandwagon blues. I've been planning to get Carnage on Kickstarter ever since the UK branch was announced. I'd love to continue developing it for free, but the simple fact is this isn't possible any more. I exhausted my stock piles of dried grain and tinned beans and basically am now completely skint! Also my other funding source has dried up so times are tight.

There is about a year of full time development left for the game to get the massive feature list complete. There's also a large requirement for AAA media which obviously doesn't come for free, so basically Carnage lives or dies by it's funding, and Kickstarter seems like the best bet to get it finished.

So if you like the game enough to part with a tenner (or more if you want one of the cooler pledge prizes on offer), then please head over to the Kickstarter page and show your love. All help from the community is massively appreciated and won't be forgotten!

Backer badges available in the same way they were for FPSC Reloaded. Please email Rick with your email and username once you've pledged and he will hook you up with the badge!

Awesome mate. Thanks! You couldn't resist a bit of peacocking with the flashy armour, could you?

I'll enquire into backer badges.

That £40 is really tempting, keeping track of this and posted to Facebook!

I hope to have spare cash lying around before this ends! if I see spare cash coming my way I will back it immediately to help channel confidence in the project for onlookers!

I hope to see this come fruitful and I will most certainly buy it!

Heck tomorrow after checking my account I will back £10 for now

Thanks dude. That's really appreciated. Yeah, the armour decals will be pretty cool. It'll be a permanent show of support and a bit of bling to shove in everyone elses face.

Really not sure how the campaign is going to go. I suppose if anything it'll show me whether Carnage is worth finishing because if not many people back it then that says it all.

Well, your wish is our command! Anyone who backs Carnage can now wear the evilest of all forum badges! Mwahahaha.

Just email Rick your email and forum username and he will hook you up with some skullage!

I'm not a fan of top down games. Really! I'm more of an explorer which is why I like the FPS genre. Not that killing isn't fun, I enjoy that as well, but it's the exploring that brings me back.

That said, I've backed this and I'll tell you why. Two reasons really.

1. It's a community thing.... nuff said.
2. Honestly, I don't think you'll make the goal so it won't cost me anything.

With that in mind, I encourage everyone to go ahead and pledge. Pledge a lot! No need to worry. It's not going to happen and you'll never be charged for it, but you will get a really neat badge. Really! Trust me!

Brian.

It's worth it just for the badge. I'd pay £100 for that badge. Hell, I'd pay £1000!!
