Has anyone seen this? It's a gaming tablet/console/PC. I must say it's pretty awesome although it does have a hefty price tag ($1,299 or about £800) but nonetheless I think it's a pretty cool concept if you're a hardcore gamer that plays games where you go. I might pick up one of these in the future because while this is cool I need to save up for a new desktop so yeah.

What are your thoughts on this?

Oh come on. We're trying to talk with sigs here and you rudely interrupt.

That is my thoughts on this for now...

Pretty useless to be honest, I would just buy a Surface Pro... and job done... Unless your intention is solely to play games... in that case, it is useless for me, handy for you...

Bloody Razer and their prices.

Seriously I don't mind paying over £60 for a quality keyboard, or paying over the odds for a mouse to match it - but it's kinda annoying when they have cool tech that everyone wants, tech that will sell very well, and it costs rediculous money.

Let's face it, these days we can buy tablets for <£200 that are capable gaming devices, an £800 tablet better be 10 times better than a Nexus7, it better humiliate a Kindle Fire, and make the iPad look like a fricken chopping board. Sadly, I doubt it'll be as good as all that... It's difficult to justify spending a small fortune on a handheld these days, doesn't mean I don't want one though... and one of those LCD keyboards... and fancy gaming laptops... and I can probably do with a new headset... Damn you Razor, I've spent enough on you in the last year - you can't have any more - I'm saving for some VR goggles instead.

I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more memes.

but this tablet is supposed to be pretty shoey good - as in, it can run BF3 <given in a rather low graphics setting> - on 30FPS, and Crysis 2 aswell...

paying 800 - for a tablet device, that's about as powerfull as a 500£ computer, seems fairly shoey reasonable if you ask me.

That kind of sucks but by the time I get this it will probably ship to the UK so that's not really an issue for now.

Another thing is that the console controller/dock/keyboard are all sold separately which REALLY sucks because the things individually have a hefty price tag (I think the controller is like $199 or something) and I can see myself buying the keyboard and controller so in the end it's gonna cost more than the original £805.

I love Razer. I have a Naga Molten from them and about to get a pair of headphones later this year.

Looking at the specs it's a PC in tablet form factor. So you need to take that into account when comparing prices.

Intel Core i7 Dual core w/ Hyper Threading Base 1.9GHz / Turbo 3.0GHz
8GB DDR3 (2x4GB 1600MHz)
Intel HD4000 (DX11) NVIDIA GT 640M LE (2GB DDR3, Optimus Technology)
10.1” (IPS, 1366x768) 10-point capacitive touch
128/256GB SSD (SATA-III)

Not really sure if that is a good or bad thing. A Nexus7 isn't going to be obsolete in 6 months.

By way of demonstration, he emitted a batlike squeak that was indeed bothersome.

I saw this on their website last year, wasn't impressed then and still not impressed now. But I find tablets pointless, just like netbooks.

For $1300, I might buy one if I was a millionaire or something.
