I never actually know how to start a thread xD so anyway, I was wondering if you guys have any tips on buying a good headset around 30-40 euro's, and buy-able in Holland
My friends are starting to get really annoyed by my music playing over my mic xD.

Also, while I'm starting a new thread, any thoughts on the Sony XPeria V? I've been thinking about buying it, but I'm not really sure what other phones there are

Anyway, thanks in advance

As for the headset, I use the steelseries siberia V2, im pretty happy with it and it dosn't get anoying after a few hours of gaming.

As for the experia V, my mother got one a few weeks back and she seems pretty happy with it. Although she told me that she regret not bying a phone with a bigger screen.

Personaly, I have a samsung galaxy note which I am realy happy with (a lot of people think it is to big though). Another phone to look into may be the nexus 4. the nexus devices are googles "own" devices and they get the new android versions as soon as they are released (the S3 is one version behind if im not misstaken and my note is 2 versions behind). I think the nexus is relativley cheap to

I think I would go for the Nexus, were it not that due to LG not being able to produce enough, they are not sold in the Benelux

And I actually like a smaller screen ( I think the S2 is on the limit of how big a phone should be, and the V is already slightly over it )

Though the Siberia V2 seems pretty nice, it's slightly out of my price range Though if there' nothing else at a cheaper price, it looks pretty damn good xD

In that case, you shouldn't go for a note

There is one thing I don't realy like about the Xperia, from what I have seen, it dosn't have nearly as much contrast as for example, the samsung phones. One more phone I may recommend is the samsung galaxy s3 mini, from what my friends have told me, it's basicaly a smal version of the S3. Maybe something to look into

Same here. You can get the latest version if you download them yourself. I'm running 4.1.2. I'd recommend you get the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or Galaxy S3, they seem to be top dog these days.

Realy, don't you have to have the phone rooted for that. And as far as I know, the custom roms don't have the S-pen features.

I can't remember exactly how I did it, I had to install Clockwork mod, but my current install is not rooted. It isn't a custom rom really, it's pretty much the version that the note 2 has, so it has S-Pen functionality.

I guess I will have to look into it then

Do you remember if you used any tutorials when you installed it?

if its headset including a MIC in it, you cant buy just ANY headsets.
you must buy an original one for sonyericsson (cuz it wont work the other for you)

i noticed on ebay there are headsets that capable with Xperia Arc S (as it says on the title) but not all of them are originals, wich doesnt work on the real time.

here is an example;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/140551031320?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
this is Sony Ericsson Xperia capable, but i recived it and im v. dissapointed that it doesnt work the way it should..

I can't remember the specific tutorial I followed, but there are lots around. I've just googled and it seems I did initially have to root my phone. That wasn't an issue for me, but if you're uncomfortable with it, maybe you'd be best off waiting for the official release.

Yep, I found some tutorials, i'll have to look into it and see if I want to do it. I did jailbreak my old iPod 5 or 6 times so I have some experience

The headset is for my pc ( to use instead of my speakers ), the phone is a complete seperate issue

Anyway, about the phone, the Galaxy S3 mini is about the right size, except that I absolutely hate it's colours

Also, any more tips on a headset for my pc? The Siberia V2 is slightly out of my price range xD
