I'm experimenting with using Resident Evil styled prerendered backgrounds and I've run into some trouble in matching my Dark Basic camera to the 3D Studio Max camera positions.

You can see in the image that despite being in the exact same positions and pointing to the exact same targets my Dark Basic camera does not match the view prerendered from 3D Studio Max.

Does anyone know what is causing this? What is the default field of view for the Dark Basic camera?

Any help or advice is appreciated!

i think db's scale and modelling programs such as 3ds are different, this might be causing it.

It must be something like that because I can't seem to get them to line up no matter what I do. It works in really simplistic scenarios (dead on camera, square room) but if I try any cool angles or perspectives it never works.

I guess I'm going to full polygonal environments then. Not a big deal, they just don't look quite as good as prerendered for these purposes. Actually the full screen prerendered images chewed up a lot of FPS anyways
