Ok thanks ,

I have one question, you know that at the left of the thread, you see a picture of a small folder, if the folder turns "RED", what does that mean?

@XDwannesXD

So, how is it going with the models? ,

Thanks to Tomahawk and XDwannesXD for helping me with the pack.

EDIT:
I will try to make a Bunker Model using SketchUp, since I am already using it for school assignments, I might try to use it now

I just made a "Well" in SketchUp, but just one question,

How do I put more than one texture on it in Entity Workshop? Or any other program?

Picture is attached

Quote: "So am I allowed to use these models in this pack? the pack will be FREE, we will gain no money from it. "

Quote: " However you are prohibited to resell, create your own license to give away these 3d models individually or as part of collection or bundle to get profit."

The wording is gobbledegook, they say 'resell'.'give away' and 'for profit' all in the one messy sentence so I can see your confusion.
No you cant include them. You could provide a link to the site, but to be honest I wouldn't trust it, it looks to me like anyone can 'claim' to own copyright on some of those models but actually dont. Anyone can post models and the site owners aren't going question it till the original author comes along and tells them to remove it.
It's also this sites license which in no way affects the original authors license. No matter what they claim it wont protect you by saying they 'said it was all good'.

Golden rule, if its not 100% your own work, don't distribute it without permission, especially around here.

Might even be pushing it with those retextures, not much difference from the originals. You might want to confirm it before including them or offering for download.

The models you are doing yourself is nice enough work and you really should stick to that.

Ask yourselves what your trying to achieve, do you want to gather some media other people made to give out to folks (not much credit in that), or do you want to create something to give out that they will thank you for.

Stop trying to make 'mega pack' and go for quality over quantity. There are very few that can pull it off around here, particularly on the first attempt.

I don't trip over...I do random gravity checks.

I am doing both, I am currently trying to model and UV Map, but some people might help me with it too,

@Tomahawk

Yeah, Maybe this will fit in WW2, it is something in life, so it will fit, it is just a random model, but yeah, I will add it.

I understand that, but surely if its a community pack it should be by the community and not stuff found on a website. You cant be sure if those models are really safe for people to use in their games.
Not putting things down and actually trying to help. The work you guy's are creating yourselves is good and I see no reason for you to pad it out.

I am currently working on furniture, and I will also be making some bunker building to place in your level, and I will also include bunker segments, so you could create your own bunker which you can enter!

Do you think I should make Bunkers as entities to place down, or should I make them just segments? so people could add the gaps on the bunker wherever they want, and they could enter it and add entities inside.

VOTE: Bunker Entities or Bunker Segments?

There will be more than one segment and more than one Building entity.

Okay, so i tried UV mapping a more complicated object, this was the result

I will keep trying nonetheless, but i might need some help from someone who has Ultimate Unwrap3D. I will be taking a few day break so i can work on my game.

The poly count comes from the amount of polygons (flat surfaces made from three or more vertices) in that particular model.

That vehicle looks rather high poly to me. You have over 10,000 faces in it and over 12,000 verts.

If you had this and a few other items in your scene, you would get serious lag and reduced FPS. For something like a vehicle - that will be more than likely not moving - you should really try to keep your vert count below 2,000; i would be aiming to keep as low as below 1,000 if it were me.

I would advise you learning how to UV map your models in Blender. Blenders UV mapping is great and extremely fast.

@MrCrazyDude115: Thank you!
@unfamillia: Okay I will take a look and see if I can reduce the poly count.

@MrCrazyDude115:I have not been making models at all figuring the pack was dead because there where no new posts for so long, and with my texturing skills the why they are i would ultimately ruin the car model so i have stopped working on it. I can still make smaller scale models though if you have any ideas.

@all: if anyone would like to texture the car model i would be most grateful since i hate not being able to finish something that came out so good for one of my first attempts at modeling.
