Under work in progress someone said that he engine is 50% done, but isn't dark basic, the engine, ore is it the program you use to m,ake the engine?

Usually when someone refers to their 'engine' in DBC or Pro, they mean the bare bone system of how their game is handled - eg an engine could use data files for its missions, maths collision and stuff like that.

Its basically the way the game is handled by the code.
