this might be a bit much to ask for, but can anyone give me a snippet were an object stays in the center of where the camera is pointing all the time (the camera controls the object, not vice versa) and stays about 100 units away from the camera?

As I walk through the vally of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

There are special commands in DB called newxvalue,newyvalue, and newzvalue. Store your camera angle and positions, then position object at newvalues depending on where camera is pointing.

If that is the case, have a look here:

http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=19287&b=10

It's a fully working cross-hair snippet.

Just one suggestion, set Object collision to Boxes for the plain that is the cross-hairs.

Hope I Helped...

There could be numerous reasons...
Cross-hairs;
Some sort of weapon;
A targeting device;
etc;
etc;

Axelman, please don't post unles it contributes to the thread, be it a question or a solution, but just posting negative messages (which is how i interprited your post) is not helping anyone. Thanks.

Yeah, fair enough...

It's cool posting questions or suggestions or anything really, as long as you don't post somethign negative (which is how i read the post).

But, it's a fair enough question...

Sorry for the highjacking of your thread Blazer...
