I'm working on a level and i've loked around at sever differnt things but could someone help me out on how to do lightmapping in DB as well as texturing? any help would be appreciated.

Here's a rather in-depth tutorial on texture baking for UTE in 3dmax, but if you can understand it, the concept is the same for DBC. Texture baking is really the only good way to do lightmaps in DBC; if you had DBP, a BSP file would easily suffice.
