Hi,

If you're a backer of AppGameKit V2 and have pledged at least £25 then you can now claim your TGC forum AppGameKit backer badge (what a mouth full!)

To claim your badge you will need to email Christine who can set these up for you. Please be patient because I'm sure she'll be inundated with requests! Just follow these steps to ensure a smooth badge transfer;

1. Email Christine at this address; chrisbambertgc@googlemail.com

2. Send her these details;

- Your full name
- Your TGC forum name
- The email address you use on the TGC forum
- How your pledged (Kickstarter direct or paypal)
- How much you pledged (we will be cross checking)

If you do all of the about then your badge should appear quickly.

Cheers,

Rick

Just requested mine, and was reading about all the possible badges- could I possibly get my AppGameKit Developer badge.

Quote: "AGK Developer - Awarded for publishing a game made in AppGameKit in a recognised market including but not limited to AppUp, Meego, Android, and Apple stores."

I've released Block Ooo (http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=202197&b=48) to the Apple App Store, Google Play, and AppUp. Thanks.

Request sent about half an hour ago. But I'm not in a rush.

I think baxslash gets preferential treatment (as he should). His badge is already up.

Is that for having software available on an app store? if so I also have a few things available on the black berry.

my hockey game ice brawlers is on playbook & bb10 phones
my music app qmidi is on playbook

also Im a gold pledger so I requested for that badge.

I love AppGameKit and if it gets to the 20k mark I think I will be ditching darkbasic pro for a cross platform language instead.

Again... if I need to make a second pledge to help get it there I will

Come on, it's been almost 24 hours since I sent my email and everyone else is showing new badges. Pout, foot stomp (and other generally childish behavior ).

On the other hand, I haven't been seeing any responses to any emails sent recently. So I am wondering if my server is being blocked.

Thanks for the Kickstarter badge!

As everyone's taking this opportunity to request badges, might I ask for the AppGameKit Developer badge? I've published Nexus of Power, Abacus App and Tennis Tracker, all produced in AGK.

@Ancient Lady I just added your badge.

The system for doing this is not perfect, so there will be some people who will have to scream a bit. We'll get there!

Thank you Rick.

Naturally I just sent another email on the assumption that there had been something wrong with my first one (content or server).

Please apologize to Christine for me for appearing to be a pest.

Hi,

Some contacts have emailed Christine but she's having trouble matching you up. Have you used different names on Kickstarter?

Christine will not be working now till the morning UK time. You can email me tonight and I'll see if I can sort it.

I think that is what happened with my first email. I was using 'Ancient Lady' as the public name in Kickstarter.

So I set it back to my real name and sent the second email. But Rick had already fixed me up. (Thank you again.)

@AL: Cynthia R. Douglas! Wow, what a beautiful name, it is like an actress' name! The american habit to put the middle initial between name and surname sounds very intriguing and mysterious. In Star Trek, I have appreciated a lot James T. Kirk, where T. stands for Tiberius, the roman emperor.

@TGC: where is my badge, thanks? MarcoBruti and Marco Bruti, there is no possibility of mistake

Okay, 'R' is for 'Robin'. Anywhere other than the US, it probably would have been 'Robyn'. But my mother (who should have known better growing up in New England) didn't get it right.

That's the first time I've had my name called beautiful. And absolutely do not call me Cindy (I've been known to punch for that).

I was raised much more a tom-boy Robin than a refined Cynthia (and my family has always called me Robin).
