i created a level in milkshape and loaded it into AGK. the UV coordinates are off, i'm wondering if there are any tips for getting them to display properly? should i use different model software?

the .obj file interface is not really compleate and
also each 3d software creates her own fileformat^^
maybe try blender,ultimate unwrap,ac3d,shade13.
also important is the surface normal, some import tools
put the normal on the vertices with are shared with other faces
and you can only prevent this ugly look by giving each face her own
vertices.
