is it possible to make a chat bot like [email protected] is except made in d b and alot simpler? and are there any examples of db ones out there? any thing related to this subject is great thanks

You seem to be very confused. Destructive Child uses neither MSN Chat nor hotmail. It's just an MSN Messenger Client. Yes, of course it's possible, but why you would want to use such an inappropriate language is quite another matter.

MSN have recently closed the Messenger Protocol and it's now pretty much illegal to make any client which connects to it. So it's really not something we should be discussing on a forum like this.

I can tell you that I wrote a very simple messenger client in another language. It's very simple, just a few TCP/IP commands and a little bit of MD5 encryption. But that was for the old protocol, and I certainly don't advoate using the new one, it being illegal and all.

k thanks i didtn no it was illegal lol and i only used msn and hotmail so people might no what im on about any way thanks for the reply

It only became illegal very recently, when MSN closed the protocol to stop third party clients like Trillian using them freely. There is now a "patch" for Trillian which fixes this, and is - according to my MSN Sources - quite illegal. It's definitely not something I'd want to get caught up in.

I don't know offhand how easy other protocols like Yahoo would be to do the same thing with. MSN's protocol was very, very easy to use.

did you want to make an actual messanger program or one of those chat bots that talks back to you? If you wanted to make the bot it is not illeagal and you can do it using the buddyscript SDK avalible from their web site.
