I'm trying to create a sword by using several cubes but I'm not sure how to make the sword all one object.

glue object or something like that, if you're in DB...

If you don't want to animate or anything you can probably just save as a single mesh.

I figure it out and all you need to do to combine objects is hold the CTRL key down while you select the objects.
