Hello all,

I have been using dark basic for a little while now and I am thinking of moving up to AGK. For a starter project I was thinking of making a live wallpaper for android. Is it possible to do that with AppGameKit? Thanks in advance.

If by 'live wallpaper', you mean something in the background the moves or does something while other apps do things or as the background behind the 'menu' icons, I don't think so.

Well thats a bummer I thought i would start with something simple to learn the language before moving on to converting my game to agk. are you sure it isn't possible even with a few of these bits of code?

The page you point to is using pure Java.

AGK in Android is not pure Java at all and AppGameKit acts like any other app and takes control of the display completely in Android (and iOS) when it is the active app.

The issue is whether AppGameKit will allow it to show through from the background. I suspect it won't.
