I was studying the Darthster's 20 line January 2002 winner. Then I decided to make a game to play with my 6 year old grandson. We worked on it together for a while, and this is what we got - so far.

Destroyer of destroyers is a game for two players on one computer. Its like a space craft demolition derby. Choose from 6 arenas. Collect power crystals to charge your weapon. Pick up the repair kit to fix your damaged craft. Frag your opponent by shooting or ramming. In collisions, the craft with the most speed does the damage.

It's untested on any computer but mine...there may be problems. I hope not, but if so, please let me know. Also - any suggestions are welcome,

Oh, Oh! Sorry about that. I don't know what happened to that file. I uploaded it again. Then I downloaded it to make sure it's okay. If you are still interested, please try again.

BTW, I'm still working on it. - making a few improvements, adding another level or two. I appreciate any suggestions.

This is a great little game! Very addictive for two players! I'm impressed !

Couple small tips-

-Engine sound a bit loud

-Maps a bit small

-Might want to try toggling culling on the transparent walls so you can see their lower boundry

Other then that I can't think of anything to nitpick at, it's a great little game .

Hi,

Thanks Mouse. I fixed the glass maze and muffled the engines.

There is now an editor to make your own maps. It's very easy to use. You can place walls and various objects as you like. Save the map and load it into the game from the menu. Load it back into the editor to change it.

Also, now you can select bouncing collision as well as sliding collision, and wrap around edges. You can adjust the speed of the ships. You can set the ambient light while playing. The graphics are a little better and the game is a little smoother and faster too.

If you have any problems downloading it, let me know. I'd love to hear from you if you have any comments or suggestions, or whatever.

Merry Christmas,
Harggood
