Has anyone had any experience of the Moga controller?

http://www.mogaanywhere.com/

Is it something that is worth considering for AppGameKit 2?

Any thoughts?

Would be nice.
I am sure that the iCade controllers and iCade mini-cabinet will work, because they work as bluetooth keyboards, so just mapping the relevant keys should be enough, but we'd probably need specific support for controllers with an analogue stick.

If we can get nice and easy support for these and nVidia Shield, then that would be great.

I am the one who knocks...

Nope, but used other bluetooth controllers with no problems. No joysticks on those though.

I have used the moga controllers and they are really easy to use and setup.

Would be really handy to be able to use them in apps.

I have a controller and it works decently with AGK.

The trick is to use the community Universal Driver as opposed to the official MOGA driver. This allows you to use the controller as a virtual keyboard with all the buttons and what not. The only downside to this is that you lose the analog control of the joysticks and L1 R1 buttons. They become digital. I realize this isn't ideal, but until they can enhance the driver it's stuck like this. ( Technically a rooted device can access the analog through the virtual keyboard setup, but I don't deal with rooted devices ).
