Hey Everyone,

Just popping in to say hello. I was browsing around and noticed that I still had an active TGC account.

Just wanted to say how much Dark Basic helped be when I was younger. I now have my own company with about 5,000,000 game downloads. It's been a pretty amazing journey.

Dark Basic helped me learn and understand 3D math which helped me become a better programmer in the future.

I now mainly work on cross-platform mobile games written in C++/Lua and work with DirectX/OpenGL. It's pretty amusing to see that I had this account active for 11 years, quite a lot has changed since then.

Glad to see that the forum hasn't changed at all since then, quite a lot of nostalgia here Glad to see some familiar names as well.

Great to hear a success story, do you have any links so we can see what you have been up to?

What is it with all these old Obi Wan ghosts turning up recently?
Can we have a link to your site?

Yep I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for TGC!

For me it started with Lego (the bricks), then DarkBASIC Pro, then C++ and then onto everything else.

I think Lego was when I first started problem solving and developing those sort of skills.
