So I just got AppGameKit V1 and started going through Daniels ebook( which for a beginner is great). I have been just starting to learn DBP when I got AppGameKit and I have to say I think AppGameKit is alot easier to use and understand. Thank you TGC.

Welcome to the club! AppGameKit is pretty cool to work with.

Are you using v1076 or v10819 (which has the 3D stuff and lots of other goodies)?

Are you using Tier 1 (AGK Basic) or Tier 2 (C++)?

Just curious.

using v1076 currently and learning the Tier1 and then want to get into C++. I want to try and make a 2d scrolling game to test and see if I can do it and then go from there. I see there are some nice 2d tutorials also that I was looking at, but right now I am working on that ebook that Daniel made which for a beginner is great.

The ebook works well with v1076. There were some changes in v108+ that make some of the examples in it not quite work (only needing minor tweaks).
