Geek Culture / Forwarding issue

I bought a domain from godaddy http://collinandersonportfolio.com I want it to be forwarded too http://collinandersonportfolio.tumblr.com

Tumblr said to change the A-record to 66.6.44.4 which I did. Now whenever I try to go to the site I get the following error:
"The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

Tumblr says I still need to change the A-record but godaddy shows that it is changed to 66.6.44.4. Any help? I can not access my website at all.

Well it just suddenly started working again..... Very odd... This thread can be locked... I have no idea what was causing the issue

EDIT: Okay it just keeps randomly stop working and then working again.... Anyone know whats wrong?

Well no it apparently *did* propogate. The issue was with tumblr redirecting the URL to the correct blog, but was probably just a delay on their end. Just a wild guess anyway.

Well all seems to be working fine now. I guess it was as Jericho and tumblr has some sort of delay. Thanks!
