To make games do you need Dark Basic too, or Just 3D Game maker, or both? And if you don't need both, will the two combined let you make better games?

get dark basic pro or classic...
don't waste your time with 3D game maker...

youll get bored with it quick because ALL of your games will be the same...

Dark basic pro or classic requires Programming though...so expect to put in some time...(but hopefully it should be worth it )

DarkBASIC allows you to create any game you can think of by typing in the instructions.

3D Game Maker is a seperate program that allows you to make games in a manner similar to a program 'wizard' where you specify a few key aspects of the game and 3DGM does the rest. This is creatively limiting, but does bring making games into the reach of the technically subdued.

i own all three and i think that it would be good if the source for the game made in T3DGM was readable in dbpro and classic so that you could learn from and expand the games.
