Sometimes it takes several launches just to get the game to stay running.

most of the time the game crashes after a few seconds of running.

My Hockey Game is ready to deploy on OUYA but not with the current crashing player.

When is the official OUYA support going to be added to v2? maybe I should just wait for that.

I have no such problems. I'm using T1 and the one click .apk page. Also works great with the Player.

BTW, I have not tried with the latest OUYA update though.

Ah... ive been using beta 18. Does anyone know if any changes to OUYA have been made from beta18 to b19?

edit: also I noticed an ouya player download... does this mean we need alternative interpreter files to make the player usable in eclipse? (for ouya)

And no im not interested in using the 1 click deploy as it doesn't let you change the manifest file?? or does it?

Just the orientation setting at this time...
I don't use the one-click as it won't compile my project properly, by bytecode is 27mb and for some reason the APK built with one-click fails to install. It creates the APK just fine, but no Android device will install it. Works just fine from Eclipse.

I don't see Paul listing any changes to the Ouya stuff in beta 19, but that doesn't mean he didn't...

Have you tried out your APK with beta 19 on Ouya?
If there's an alternate interpreter required then I don't see anything about it.

yeah... I just noticed they had a separate player.apk file for ouya....now im wondering if it has something different in its build from the files I used in eclipse....

but I have decided to wait for an official release on agk v2 and hopefully it supports ouya including iap

edit:

it also may have something to do with ouyas latest update. I noticed some 3rd party apk,s no longer run either such as zipper (similar to winzip)

Hey I just remembered, there is a file
AGK10819\IDE\platform\android\Source\android_native_app_glue.c
That the readme says to use for Ouya multitouch input issues.
If you've not done that then you might want to check it out.
Paul hid it in there pretty well

I just ordered an OUYA ($10 off today) and am really looking forward to playing around with it and seeing how AppGameKit incorporates into it! Thanks for the tips.

Thanks... and agk v1 doesn't actually support ouya pay systems.

If you release something to ouya like I did then its for free (using agk v1)

I will have to wait till v2 comes out to be able to make any money from ouya and ill take a shot with it on my next project.

edit: I guess if your a c++ coder then you could probably figure out the pay system for v1.
