Since when has this been a thing? I just noticed it now. This was one of a handful of proposed features that I've heard dismissed as "never going to happen", so I am surprised. What changed? And does this mean my idea about every user having their own directory to manage their uploads will also become a reality?

Oh, I actually have a suggestion about uploads that is very simple. When we upload a file it would be nice to get the address of it while still writing the post, often people post images that they want to include in the post and it's a hassle to have to post, then click view to open the image, copy the address and then go back and edit the message to insert the address.

There's a sticky at the top of this board with all that info in it

Though, yes - it probably is still a sign of the Apollocalypse.

You will see a lot of changes around on the forums, I will be opening up a sticky in the near future for users to suggest changes that may be considered for inclusion so by all means post there once I have created it.

The reason behind the new development is the forum software is being used on the FPSCR site now and as such will need to be updated for use in the future with nice shiny new features Makes no sense for me to code all the changes on one site and abandon the other.

A small change I would suggest is to change the size of text to use EM instead of pixels. Right now the text is hard to read on mobiles since some posts get really tiny text.

You have a very odd nickname.

Also I'm glad to see how forum evolves!
