Now the new year has started for us "less advanced" european people so I guess I can now wish you all a happy new year.

Happy new year everybody!

I ended up watching my dad and brother take a swim in the local lake trying to do it both in the new and old year which is pretty difficult when the water is about 5 degrees. It was a pretty nice way to celebrate the new year though

lol, really is it any worse than stumbling around a town centre trying to remember what you drank last? Or spending the whole new years day so hung over you wish the world would implode from under you?

P.S. I'm doing very nearly the same thing as you. Only I'm watching the Sword Art Online EXTRA EDITION episode (Anime) on www.crunchyroll.com via my iPad, posting to this forum on my android tablet and blowing people up in World of Tanks.

And yet I feel quite happy about all this

P.S. The cat spent his new years day under the lovely warm radiator. He's not moved in a while... it's possible he's died and gone to kitty heaven.

Happy New Year!

I have some interesting feelings no this new year. It's full of promise, me thinks. I have a lead on a promotion on my relatively new job, I feel confident and more competent as a programmer, AND I'll be going to New Orleans sometime soon with my friends just for a fun road trip. Off to a pretty good start, I think!
