Hello, I've seen this question asked by one other person but couldn't find a response to it or fix.
I've installed AGKv2 and any project I try compiling, be it a New one created using AGKv2 or an old one created with 108 I get the following error when I try to run the compiled project:

"Error in Vertex Shader Vertex shader was successfully compiled to run on hardware
at line 0"

After I hit 'OK' I get a Visual C++ runtime error

(See Screenshots for example)

Any idea what I can do to get this working.
System:
OS: Window 7
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4
Video Card: Radeon HD 5850

Several others have posted the same question. I don't know if anyone has come up with an answer. Try searching this forum for other posts.

That's the first thing I did, I can't seem to find anything related to v2.

I don't understand it. I tried all sorts of searches before I finally got the right combination (not search thread titles but searching actual content).

There was a lot of mentions about your issue in the "AGK Version 2 Alpha 1" thread.

This post by Paul mentions how to possibly deal with it.

so... a number of people have complained about this...

HERE'S ONE MORE!!!

all of a sudden i'm getting the "vertex shader failed to comply at line 0" error since downloading the new and improved version!!!

and, if i've read the response to the non-fix correctly, we just have to wait until the next version...

god's tits!!! it's not like the software was free!!!

GET IT RIGHT OR LEAVE THE BLOODY THING ALONE!!!

Calm down - v2 is in alpha so It's bound to have issues, we're lucky TGC grant us this kind of early access to solve these kind of issues and take on feedback for new features.

I got the same issue with v1 - probably because i'm using a Radeon GPU. v2 worked, but had other issues, but it's not the end of the world.

v108 works fine and you can quite easily work in v108 until v2 is stable enough to properly develop with.
