Finally got my homebrewed DirectX 11 engine functional enough to pull of something "playable" and thought I'd show it off.
It's definitively nothing fancy; all media except the fonts (speaking of which; the font engine apparently needs some tweaking what with characters getting cut off in places) is created directly in memory (and since I'm lazy it's all various kinds of blocks).

Also thanks to Scraggle for the Score font.


Known issues
If you start the program and it looses focus during initialization it will crash since it expects to be able to acquire the mouse and keyboard using DirectInput. That should be an easy fix further down the road.
