Is there a browser setting or a forum option that I can choose so I don't have to see these animated signatures at the bottom of some peoples postings?

One guy had this big animated hand going back and forth. I find it terribly distracting. Its very difficult to read the post. I wouldn't mind it it played through once and then stopped but nooooo.... its on an endless loop.

I'd recommend using adblock plus for firefox. You can choose individual images to block by right clicking on them.

You're talking about mr Handy's sig... Sigs never bother me coz, to save bandwidth, I usually visit here in text-only mode so when I can jack into... ahem, I mean borrow the use of (with their full consent)... someone's wifi, it's a real treat. Soon I will be getting a 10gb day / 10gb night monthly package so I may even become one of those annoying-sig people myself

Don't worry guys, I'll find a weaknessin this new weapon of theirs.

"You realise you're not nearly as funny as you think you are," said Onii-chan.

"I know that, which means I must be as funny as I think I am; in a paradoxical sort of way," I replied.

I hope I'm not "that guy". Sure I've been playing the fool for about a week but I'm usually far more serious. Gomenasai, mina, I'll tone it down.

Doesn't work. I clicked it and when I look at other threads I can still see his messages.

This code for greasemonkey/tampermonkey will remove all Seditious's posts from the OLD forum.

P.S. but hiding someone's posts is so childish

Why are you trying to block a forum member? That's intolerant and immature, if you ask me.

Well sure if you think reacting to an annoying member is more mature than ignoring him.

Umm, I'm pretty sure you going out of your way and acting to block his posts is a lot less mature than simply pretending they aren't there, like a normal, well mannered person.

Nobody ever said you had to reply to a post you found annoying.

Maybe it is obvious: script uses date from "joined" field. Names don't work, I don't remember why.

Maybe he also don't like my fancy sig?

He should still just ignore it, or at least block it and not let anyone know about it.

You should have Mr Valentine put a little rainbow colored spiral thingy on the hand, to hypnotize anyone that sees it into liking it.

Well, if you turn the sigs setting on then you should agree with seeing other person's sig along with your awesome sweetie Or else it is like putting on paper bags on some faces while riding the public bus.

Well you may very well think that but I beg to differ. Anyway I'm not concerned with what people consider mature or not, I think it'd make a handy forum feature that could prevent arguments. Some people can be particularly agitating (not mentioning anyone in particular here) and it'd be easier to simply block them.

On another note, I think it's sort of cute that mr Handy is upset that (he thinks) I want to specifically block him.

to MrValentine: Could you tweak my awesome signature animation to something calm, please?
