Hi guys. I wanted to share a small web game I've been working on recently. I kind of consider this my NaGaCreMo game, since the game I actually posted about (Spaceward) is still very much in progress and I developed this over the course of the month alongside it .

Flatricide Pulgamitude is a pseudo-multiplayer game about building and exploring an abstract world. You can build things as you wander around, and explore things other people have built. That's basically all there is to it. The game is web-based (no download!) and can be played at:
http://www.brianmacintosh.com/fp/

Now, the reason I started developing this game in the first place because of a little competition. My information retrieval professor posed a challenge to my class this quarter: to get a site to the top of the Google search results for the term "Flatricide Pulgamitude". To that end, if you like the game, I'd appreciate it if you could share a link on your own website/blog/twitter/etc. I'm on the first page right now, but there's still ground to cover!

I did like this, it put a smile on my face after a day of rather dull, frustrating work.

Shared it with these guys:

I was curious how far the world was stretching, so I made a render of the entire thing as it appeared just now. Don't look if you want to explore yourself .

This is a good time killer. I played well over an hour before I realized it. I was able to find some goggles and elf hat. I can see my suspension bridge from the render..it's kinda cool to see everything together. Get to see how creative and childish the users really are, lol.
