AppGameKit Classic Chat / Just installed 108.21 from 108.18 and I'm experiencing intermittent frame rate issues.

I have not had any issues with frame rate dropping to under 10 fps until the day I installed version 108.21.

The weird things is if I let the app run it would eventually go back up to 60 fps if it doesn't crash the phone.

I haven't reached my optimizing stage of development yet so it can be something I can correct. But when the frame rate drop happens the physics just goes out the window.

But I wanted to ask the community to see what people experiences have been.

The project I'm working on uses Box2D heavily so I wonder if that could be the issue. One thing I'm doing is using SetPhysicsGravity function to control the slow down and speed up of objects. Could this be the culprit? But again development was fine up until version 108.21.



I'm using Tier 2.

yup I can say the same from upgrading the players that the fps did drop on one of my projects aswell.

I had to compile my MassConflict using 18 instead of 21 as it seemed to take a major performance hit over blackberry.

I had no issues however on android but I don't have any poor performance android devices....so I couldn't notice it on that.

All im using is 3d for the most part....no physics.
