This is sweet! It runs awesome!!! Thanks so much DBS for putting your time in to make such a powerful language.

On the other hand, I have a question. I was writing a game in DarkEDIT, and I made types with subarrays, eg.
TYPE mytype
array(20)
ENDTYPE
And when I ported it to DBP, it complained about this (Declaration name array(20) is not valid). Is this just an oversight?

I doubt it-- the whole type/array system has been overhauled to work much better. It's really not smart to port from DB to DBP I think without looking over every shred of code. But that's just a geuss

Congrats on getting DBP!!!

TYPES? We could even do that in the older DB? I've been living in a cave. Since DB has Types there is no need for me to be flustered wishing for an OOP style DB language.

(Wendigo gets all giddy inside!)

DBP is awesome ain't it?

Oh well, I used DarkEDIT to preprocess all my TYPE statements and got rid of 'em. I'm trying to get used to the sprites "backdrop", which seems to turn off by calling SET SPRITE on the first sprite...
