you have more than just video memory on your program.
you also have hard drive memory normally called bytes and ram memory that is short term. You probably need some more ram memory. Get a upgrade or get a memory free up program.

I get that on my Laptop (Win ME)

It's do with your Vid mem and DirectX

I don't have a clue how to solve it, but that is the problem with the out of mem error.

Hope I Helped...

128 MB of RAM is a little bit low these days...

Go to Start:Run
Type "msconfig" and hit run

There should be a tab called "Startup"

Uncheck everything except what you want running. This will free up memory on your computer, and improve system performance. Also, in DB, undim all of your unused arrays to free up memory.

Good luck.

I got a voodoo 2 with 192 mb memory, and what I did was use X-Setup ( a tweak tool) with the Voodoo 2 plugin, I limited the texture mem to 2 mb there and ever since I did that, together with Cacheman running, all my stuff runs fine. Even stuff that went slow before like Carmageddon 2 and Adventure pinball. And trust me, they ran S*L*O*W* before.

so from what you people say, i get that the runtime error "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" is not really an error. either HD memory or Ram or Video memory, but nothing to do with my code. in that case i have nothing to worry about, thankx guyz

Yeah, it's nothing to do with your code, it's your Vid card.

As i said, i have the same problem on my laptop, where, for some reason, it says that my Vid card ( Built in ) only has... wait for it.... wait.... and here it is... 2.5 Mb lol...

Compton, I'm gonna have a look into those tools you mentioned, thanks.
