I am currently running a radeon 7950 in my gaming machine. It works well most of the time. I have the opportunity to pick up another 7950 cheaply and was wondering if the benefits of crossfire are worth it. I have never used two cards at the same time so I am a little lost how well it really works.

Thinking of something witty to put here.

As far as I know, crossfire and SLI work pretty well, you almost double the performance compared to one card. There are some issues with uneven rendertimes and some games that don't scale as well as others but overall I think it works great. You will obviously need a motherboard and PSU that support 2 cards but if you got that, getting a second card can defenitivley be worth it.
