Just saw this post on Reddit.
http://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/23cdkn/4690_game_assets_completely_free_to_download_only/

Quote: "Normally you'd have to donate some amount of money to receive my donation pack which includes every game assets I've ever made, not today though. You can claim and download the pack without making a donation.
I've had several people contact me that they'd really like the pack but didn't have PayPal or even the money to donate, so I decided to do this instead.
All assets in the pack are licensed CC Zero, so you can use them in personal and commercial projects. You don't have to ask permission to use them. Giving credit is (due to the license) not mandatory, I would like it though but feel free to leave it out.
You can download the package here:
http://kenney.itch.io/kenney-donation"

This is today only, but you can buy the pack normally on a pay what you want model.
I've had a rifle through some of the assets and they are really high quality (they even come with vectors). I love the style, they are excellent.

You can find some art assets which this pack includes here:

I don't think I have a need for them, but I thought I would share with you guys that might!

Cheers,

Ha, that's pretty neat. Would have been a good idea for the Community Compo.

Man, I wish I would've saw this yesterday haha. Aah well, I just actually ended up buying it nonetheless - I'm sure I could use it in some way.

Thanks for sharing.

Downloaded while it was free to check it out, will probably go back and donate anyways as a thank-you (especially if I actually use any of the assets).

Missed the free day, bought it anyway. Lots of stuff that could come in useful for just a few quid.

Glad you've found some use out of them! Even if you did miss the free day, the pay what you want model makes the assets really worth it.

Even the fonts are pretty good, so I might go back and give a donation if I find a use for them.

The psychology of the payment works well. I saw $1 and refused to pay such an insignificant amount for so many assets.

Downloaded it on free day. If I use anything for a commercial game, will definitely send a donation. If I make any free stuff with it I will definitely contain a link to the site and/or some kind of promoting of the author.

I was able to download the packs just now and check them out, then I looked for a shop to actually buy some, but found nothing?

Found it, skipped past the link xD
