Ok..so who's excited about World Cup 2014 ?

Being Australian there's not a lot for us to look forward too, since we're in the group of death (apparently)...

Well at least Australia feature this time round. I got England in the sweep, so they've no chance

I am the one who knocks...

I'm no footy fan and know nothing about the game. I do know that me picking Brazil out of the hat at work for the sweepstake did not go down too well around the office. Look forward to the 50 quid winnings.

It was an eventful group, that's for sure. Should have been Spain and Holland going through. But it turns out your next game will be one of the dullest in this round, as you are both already knocked out.

I'm actually really impressed with Australia this time round. We were never really a chance to get out of the group, but we pushed both Chile and the Dutch all the way. We've played better than I've seen in years, with a very young side. Excited for the future Timmy Cahill's goal will be right up there with goal of the tournament, if not one of the best all-time world cup goals. I could watch it all day ...

Top class goal; that goal will make Timmy Cahill a house hold name around the world now.

I'm hoping Portugal win tonight, I can't deal with England being knocked out and USA getting through.

EDIT: But what a strike by Jones.

That USA game was so frustrating. Couldn't they keep the ball away from Portugal for even a couple more seconds! Hoping we can have a decent game against Germany.

I'm satisfied with how USA did today. Germany is obviously the better team, so I wasn't expecting a win, just to keep the scoring low enough so we made it out of the group. Jermaine Jones looked completely out of it though.

USA are doing better than ever as far as I can remember. Many of the high rated European teams have been knocked out.

The German team landed in Berlin today and everybody was freaking out! Massive celebration everywhere since Sunday

I'm so proud of the team! I think this generation of players (and coaches) really deserved it.

But I feel sad for Brazil. I wish they had at least made the 3rd place against the Netherlands...

I like how humble your coach and team are; thanks for an enjoyable experience and winning the world cup fair and square unlike some teams in the past.
