FPSC Classic Product Chat / Lights no longer work

All of a sudden when I launch a level you can see the lights for less than a second before the whole level goes black. I have not downloaded anything new and have not installed any updates. You can still hear all sounds and see the huds.
I have been using the software for a very long time and have never seen this happen. Any ideas?

An update. If I set light to (static mode no) then I can see it. Which does not fix the problem but may help shed some "light" on what the problem is.

ok so I installed an update and now fps creator is running in the fps creator free version. I bought the actual CD and still have it. What sort of hole am I digging here?
