I can only pick up 1 cartridge in my game for the colt. Why is this happening?

Try using the cleaner. It might Set things right.

No it didn't work I can pick them up but it doesn't add to the ammo.

If you can pick them up but ammo isn't added, first look into the
weapons "gunspec" file and look at the "RELOADQTY =X".
This defines the number of rounds per clip. See if by chance
it got set to "0".
