(I did a "step backward" and restated using the "old" WW2 weapons with MP6 hands made by Simon, mainly because i think they are, in my opinion, better looking than most V1.18 "new" stock weapons)

Anyway! I put a lot of effort into trying to improve the gunspecs, sounds, etc.

I got good results and most of them work fine... except the MP40: the fireloop command just does not work and I can't synchronize the firing sound with the animations.

In particular, when firing single shots or short 2-3-bursts the sounds work perfectly while during automatic fire they quickly go out-of-sync.

I also tired to cut down the fire.wav duration but with little effect...

For gameplay purposes, I set a rateoffire of ~6/7.

Any hits?

(I'm using the latest V1.20 beta)

Eventually I found some kind of workaround by reducing the firing animation frames in the gunspec...

It's not perfect but it does the job!
